He was predeceased by : his parents, John Wilson and Bessie Bostic Wilson; his siblings, Bert Wilson, John Wilson (Velma), Jim Wilson, Rob Wilson, Ann Watts (Al), Margaret Smith (Lester), Arlene Thompson (Grover) and Blanche Wilson; and his brother-in-law Ray Mills.

He is survived by : his wife Theresa Wilson; his children, Donald Wilson Jr. (Judy) of Glade Spring, Ruthie Crabtree (Stan) of Glade Spring and Marsha Martin (Steve) of Meadowview; his grandchildren, Alex Wilson, Amanda Fleenor, Brett Stevens, Joey Stevens, Ashley Grindstaff, Laura Nunley, Ben Garrett, Sophie Garrett, Olivia Garrett, Sunny Garrett, Ashley Martin and Kristen Martin; his sisters, Betty Mills and Lois Johnson (Ronald) of Council; and his sisters-in-law, Sandy Wilson of Lebanon, VA, Alice Wilson and Maxie Skeen. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
