It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlene Deel of Lebanon, Virginia, who passed away on April 25, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Everett Yates and Daisy Price Yates; her husband Bobby Mack Deel; and her siblings, Hubert, Clovis, Junior, Carl, Gilmer, Chester, Charles Yates, Margie Honaker, Gaynell Stump, Ann Cumbow, Vernie Honaker and Lois Flowers.

She is survived by : her children, Leon Hess (Catherine), Glen Hess (Pam), Donald Hess (Cindy), Anita Hollenback (James), David Hess (Brenda) and Timothy Hess (Stacy); her siblings, Rev. Clarence Yates and Alice Kestner; and her granddaughter Alissa. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
