He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Clary and Malinda W. Clary; his son Walter Leon Clary; his siblings, Corine Tanner, Janet Harris, Bernice Franklin, Geraldine Valentine, Saint Louis Clary, James "Jim" Clary, John Henry Clary and Bernard Clary; and his nephews, James "Bubba" Clary and Demarcus Macklin.
He is survived by: his nieces, Sandra Harris and Jerri Valentine-Terry (Earl); his sisters, Mary Joyner, Earnestine Valentine, Blackridge and Virginia; his brother-in-law Lesly Valentine; his caregivers, Jerri Valentine-Terry, Sandra Harris and Chytori Macklin; and his nephews, Earl Terry, Rodger Valentine, Charles Harris, Larry Clary, Harry Tanner, Jr. and Ron Joyner. He is also survived by his family and friends.
