She was predeceased by: her parents, R. Crawley Hawkins and Lucy Edmonds Hawkins; her former husband Ulysses W. Russell; and her siblings, Elaine H Smith of Emma H. Blick, Barbara C. Kennerson, Ruth V. Howard, Adelaide Thurston and Rev. Lawrence R. Hawkins.
She is survived by: her aunt Laura Edmonds Harrison; her husband George "Billy" Harrison; and her stepsister Evelyn J. Wilson. She is also survived by five god children and many caring nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
