Rice; her siblings, Junius Tucker (Gracie), Lynwood Tucker (Gladys), Nannie Mae Mitchell (Herman), Alberta Campbell (Mack) and Dorothy Fortson; and her siblings-in-law, Walter Rice Sr. (Beatrice), Alvin Rice Sr. (Laura) and Elsie Knox (Nick).
She is survived by: her daughters, Dale Rice Lewis (late Kelvin) and Beverly Rice; her brother-in-law Thomas Fortson; her nephew Romaine Lewis; and her godson Romaine Lewis. She is also survived by cousins and friends.
The group consisted of ladies from Brunswick and Mecklenburg Counties who met monthly for fun and fellowship until the advent of COVID-19.
