He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Jones Wright and Alma Hawkins Wright; and his sisters, Jane Parrott and Lucille Lynch. He is survived by: his wife Sue Parrish Wright; his daughter Alicia Wright Short (Guy); his granddaughters, Kayla and Jordan Short; his great grandchild Elijah James "E. J."; and his siblings, Milton Wright, Claudine Moran (Chipper) and Joyce Gibson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
