He was predeceased by: his wife Velma G. Mason; his siblings, James Mason, Elsa Chiles and Wilma Manning; and his parents, James Mason and Mabel Mason.

He is survived by: his children, Rhonda R. Mason and Harvey "Breezie" Mason Jr. (Jeneen); his grandchildren, Alexis A. Eley, Madison A. Mason and Ethan M. Mason; and his siblings, Philip Mason, Oris Mason (Janet), John Mason, Lynn Mason (Ramona), Alfred Mason (Stella), Gloria Drake, Shirley Reid, Sally Flanders, Cecelia Cameron (William) and Alice Riley.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mason Family Cemetery.
