He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel David Sapp, Sr. and Gussie M. Sapp; and his son Robert A. Sapp. He is survived by: his son Samuel David Sapp, III; his brother George M. Sapp; his close friend Janice Coleman; and his pets, Cooper and Maya. He is also survived by two step-children; numerous grandchildren.
