He is survived by: his wife Marian Hanna Satcher; his children, Serena Satcher, MD, Robert Satcher Jr., MD, Rodney Levi Satcher and Robin; his grandchildren, Daija and Robert III; his brothers, David Satcher MD and Larry Satcher; and his nieces and nephews, Stacey Van Washington (Baltimore, MD), Rochelle Washington of Anniston, AL, Harry Okpara Satcher, Eshe Satcher, Akilah Satcher of Pittsburg, CA, Daraka Satcher JD of Atlanta, GA, Daryl Satcher of Chicago, IL, Julie Douglas of Atlanta, GA, Nolan Richardson (Cynthia) of Las Vegas, NV, Virgil Richardson (Deborah) of Las Vegas, NV, Tony Richardson of Los Angeles, CA, Sonya Alissa Pearson of New Orleans, LA, Anna Jocelyn Johnson and Larry Satcher, Jr. of Dallas, TX.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brown's Memorial Chapel (704 N Main St, Lawrenceville, VA 23868). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (18585 Christanna Hwy, Lawrenceville, VA 23868). A burial will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church Cemetery. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Liberty Baptist Church (851 Morrisville Rd, Anniston, AL 36201).
