He is survived by: his wife Mary Smith; his children, Christopher Hawkins, Akira Smith of South Hill, VA, Doreatha Hawkins and Andrea Hawkins; his grandchildren, Moniquita, Jomeca, DaQuawn (Kita), Tamara, Tydia, Jordan, Ian and Serenity; his great grandchildren, Makenzie, Khloe, Tyler, Kingston, Kinsley and Kylie; his sister Carolyn Martin (late Captain); his siblings-in-law, Doris Smith (late Littleton), Barbara Hargrove, Ernestine Pearson (Eugene), Bonita Smith of Lawrenceville, VA, John Hawkins (Janice) and Leroy Pearson; his close friends, Larry Hawkins, Tony McDaniel and Matthew Alston; his nephews, Henry Adams (AL), Dexter, Kent, Jr., Lance, Monk and Don; and his niece Gina. He is also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
