She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Lucy and Jane Lucy; her husband Fred "Freddie" M. Reekes; and her brother Alvin Earl Lucy. She is survived by: her daughters, Monica R. Morris (Lee), Melissa R. Rose (Howard) and Melanie R. Newby (Andrew); her grandchildren, Colton, Cullen Morris, Caleb, Cameron Rose and Elizabeth Newby; and her brother Michael Lucy (Susan). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
