She is survived by: her daughter Alicia Short (Guy); her granddaughters, Kayla Short (Cade) and Jordan Short (Jacob); her great grandchild Elijah James Short; her siblings-in-law, Patricia Parrish and Louis Vaughan; and her caregivers, Susan, Donna, Deloris, Theresa, Brenda and Misty. She is also survived by three nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Williams Funeral Home and Crematory (410 Windsor Ave, Lawrenceville, VA 23868). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at the Oakwood Cemetery (610 W 5th Ave, Lawrenceville, VA 23868).
