She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry and Mamie Lou Holmes. She is survived by: her children, Tracey Burroughs, Jacqueline Gordon-Kinchen, Kathy Alston (Corey) and Lenora Wright (Travis); and her siblings, Emma Jean Melton (Bryant), Johnnie Mae Carter (late Nathaniel), Bennie Joyce Darby (Ernest), Evelyn Holmes, Ernest Holmes, John Holmes (late Garlene) and Sylvester Holmes. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
She enjoyed a wonderful career with Bestform Foundation as Accounts Payable Manager where she worked for many years until retirement.
