He is survived by: his wife Shelby Jean Edwards; his sons, Dr. Sidney Jones, III and Sigmund Jones; his daughter-in-law Krisha Jones; his grandchildren, Sidney Rivers Jones, IV (Megan), Laura Gurley (Stephen), Mason and Berkeley; his great grandchildren, Sidney Rivers Jones and Hurley Jones; and his siblings, Larry Jones, Lucy Clary and Judy Taylor.
