She was predeceased by: her parents, William Smith and Octavia Smith; her husband James Robert Macklin Sr.; and her daughter Brenda Marie Macklin. She is survived by: her children, James R. Macklin Jr. of Alexandria, VA and Margaret "Chella" Macklin of North Chesterfield, VA; and her siblings, Ann Reavis of Baltimore, Shirley Bell of Roanoke Rapids, N. C. and William Smith, Jr. (Edna). She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
