With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Bray Ellis (Lawrenceville, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 8, 2025 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Mark Moody and Fannie Mabel Moody; and her former husband Cecil Gray Bray. She is survived by: her husband Robert Ellis; her son Edward Mark Bray (Pam); her stepchildren, Emilie Holland (Bogart), Rhonda Kessinger (Bill), JoAnn Wright and Cecil Gray Bray; her grandsons, Madison Bray, Cullen Bray, William Bogart Holland Jr. and Brooks Wright; and her sister Jean Moody.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Philadelphia Church (6072 Triplet Rd, Lawrenceville, VA 23868). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
