It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Gaines (Lawrenceville, Virginia), who passed away on May 10, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John M. Gaines and Mabel P. Powell. He is survived by: his wife Jeannette; his daughters, Tonya (Anthony) and Kecia (Troy); his grandchildren, Christian (Ebony), Anthony (Glennethria), John Anderson, Jovan and Taniah; his siblings, Carl (Katherine), Perry (Gloria), Larry (Alicia) and Georgia (Charles); his son-in-law Troy Easter; and his cousin Tony Gaines. He is also survived by seven sisters-in -law, five brothers-in-laws, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
