She was predeceased by: her parents, James Cox and Viola Cox; her siblings, Julia, Mary, Martha, Warren and Nathaniel Cox; her son Cecil Parrish; and her granddaughter Latoi Walker.
She is survived by: her husband Charlie Paul Walker; her sons, Anthony L. Parris, Sr. (Alvera) of Petersburg, VA, Paul Wayne Walker (Vanessa) of Glenburnie, MD and Curtis Darnell Walker of Hanover, MD; her grandchildren, Antony Parrish, Jr., Calvin Walker, Jason Walker, Crystal Walker, Sereta Carter and Gia Graham; her nieces, Lillian Jarrett, Alvertha Cox Gillus, Cheryl Cox Rainey, Patricia Cox Jones, Rosa Rice Bright, Valerie Walker and Elsie McCoy; and her great-niece Myrna Meredith. She is also survived by six great grandchildren; a host of caring nieces and nephews.
