It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce E. Lewis (Lawrenceville, Virginia), who passed away on May 6, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William Shelton Lewis Sr.; her son Kelvin Jerome; her parents, Mattie Beathrice and Joseph Arthur; and her siblings, Beathrice Rosemond (Rose) and William Arthur (Billy).
She is survived by: her sisters, Beatrice Rosemond, Selma Anthonette and Gladys Elizabeth "Mickey"; her children, William Shelton Jr., Denise Chevonne and Keith Wayne Lewis; her former spouse Dale Rice; her daughter Leslie Weddington; her grandchildren, Latoya Vaughan (Brent) and Renita Lewis; her children, Shyheim, Shania, Shamia and Shamyra; her grandchildren, Jayden and Samina; her children, Amari, Amani, Tynekia, Takaya, Jaquan and Talik; her former spouse Vernice Booth; her children, Joyceline, Jakaree, Aamir, Cecily, Crystal Walker (Tee Tee), Amoiree and Aniyah; and also, Jaquan, Neima, Julian, Ramaine (Heather Miles), Zackery Miles and Maddox Lewis.
This quarantine, due to the ongoing Covid-19 was very hard on Joyce, her family and friends.
