We bid farewell to Johnie M. Carpenter of Lawrenceville, Virginia, born in Triplet, Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 22, 2025 at the age of 93. Johnie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his mother Lucy Norwood Carpenter; and his wife Evelyn Wall Carpenter. He is survived by: his daughter Beth Carpenter (Dan O'Brien); and his granddaughters, Brittany "Bea" Clark, Sydney Webb and Marni O'Brien. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and special friends.
