He was predeceased by: his father John Henry Clary. He is survived by: his mother Nelly Walker Crutchfield; his daughter Sonya (Hakim); his siblings, Bruno Crutchfield (Denise), Frances Phea (Dominic) and Nannie Hayspell; his close friend Nannie Wilkins; his great-aunt Helen Walker; and his aunt Ernestine Valentine. He is also survived by 5 nephews; 5 great nephews and 6 great nieces; numerous cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Brown's Funeral Service (704 N Main St, Lawrenceville, VA 23868). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Union Meherrin Rzua Church (340 Go Cart Rd, Brodnax, VA 23920). A burial was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at the Union Meherrin Rzua Church Cemetery (340 Go Cart Rd, Brodnax, VA 23920).
