He is survived by: his sisters, Gwennette Thomas of Lawrenceville, VA, Cartissa Blackwell and Elsie Bright; his aunts, Millie Meredith, Laura Mason, Armenta Stamps, Esther Weaver, Patricia House, Rose Brown, Marie Drumgold and Diane Drumgold; his uncle Thomas Blackwell; his cousins, Russell Blackwell, Raymond Coleman, Lucille Reavis and Valerie Walker; and his friend Barbara Dugger. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
