He is survived by: his wife Bessie Virginia White; his children, Tyrone Boyd (Bernadette) of Kentucky, John Turner (Lorraine) of New York, Tresa Borders (Alvin) of North Carolina and Saundra Turner (Alexander) of South Carolina; his siblings, Presley Boyd (Mary Ann) of New York, Phyllis Fletcher (Arthur) of New Jersey and Selena Clements of Washington; and his sisters-in-law, Doris Brody (Joe), Nancy Campbell (Stanley) of North Carolina and Marjorie Boyd of Blackridge. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
