She is survived by: her husband Leon Meredith; her children, Timothy Meredith-Klugh (Al) of Palm Springs, Darrell Meredith (LaToya) of South Hill, VA and Detra Meredith-Davis (Anthony) of LaCrosse, VA; her grandchild Ladarria Meredith; her godgrands, Brielle Cook and Jaimey Edlow; her siblings, Larry Alston, Sr. and Lillian Alston; her siblings-in-law, Lacy Macklin, Dorothy Hite, Geraldine Hicks (James), Angela Alston, James, William (Brenda), Thomas, Randolph Meredith (Jacqueline) and Junior Drummond, Sr.; her godson Jeremy Alston; her nieces, Lisa Harris, Lacharo Alston and Gladys Alston-Hardin; her great-nephews, Roberto Mureno (Crystal) and Carl Malone (Liz); and her close friends, Emma Bey, Delois Mise and Delois Brown. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Browns Funeral Service (704 N Main St, Lawrenceville, VA 23868). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Green's Chapel Church. A burial was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at the Green's Chapel Church Cemetery.
