With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Lucy of Lawrenceville, Virginia, who passed away on December 17, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Greyson Mitchell and Sallie Truitt Mitchell. She is survived by: her sons, Joseph Edger Baird, Jr. (Kimberly), Charles M. Baird (Debbie) and James Kent Baird (Mary Lou). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lake Gaston Christian Life Center, 1411 Robinson Ferry Road, Ebony, VA 23845.
