He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and Bettie Mae Starke Seward; and his siblings, John Herbert, Robert Lee, Jesse Leon, Maxie Seward, Mary Williams, Maude Seward, Mamie Green and Maxine Jones.
He is survived by: his siblings, Clyde, Randolph Seward and Martha Seward (Polly); his sisters-in-law, Perline, Mary and Edith Seward (Laverne); and his niece Maude Edmonds-Bell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and friends.
