He is survived by: his wife Bessie; his children, Jamala Harrison (Raymond) of Cary, NC and JeJuan Bland of Lilburn, GA; his grandsons, Emil, Evan and Kingston; and his siblings, Ahmad Rashad of Brooklyn, Charles Bland (Joyce) of Lawrenceville, VA, Ronald Bland (Belinda) of Stafford, VA, Donald Bland (Janice) of Covington, GA, Ida Flowers, Thelma Mays of Baltimore, MD and Carolyn Dabney (Reginald) of Richmond, VA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and other family and friends.
