He was predeceased by: his parents, John Graves and Sarah Graves; his children, Constance Graine and Orlando Petty; and his siblings, John Graves, Angie Graves, Elizabeth Hite and Sarah Fletcher.
He is survived by: his son Eddie Petty (Meredith) of Lynchburg, VA; his son-in-law Calvin Graine of Lawrenceville, VA; his sisters, Hester, Rosa of Raleigh, NC and Peggy of Freeman, VA; his caregiver Cassandra Rainey; and his grandson Tyrone Green (Salina Walker). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
