She was predeceased by: her parents, William Smith and Etta Smith; her husband George Emmit Michael; and her siblings, Lewis Smith and Alice Faye Smith Brewer.
She is survived by: her children, Vickie Lynn Michael, Steven Wayne Michael (Lisa) and Danny Lee Michael (Connie); her grandchildren, Amanda M. Shao (Joey), Ethan Daniel Michael (Shanna) and Steven Nicholas Michael; her stepgrandchildren, Owen, Ashton, Liam and Thea; her sister Jewel Grey Allen; her nieces, Betty Vancil, Ann Earles (Roger), Cathy Crochet and Diane Brewer Roller; her nephew Todd Allen (Paula); and her pets, Copper, Salem and Shadow.
