She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris Wilkins and Queen Victoria Thrower Wilkins; her husband Jessie Reavis Evans, Sr.; her children, Gladys Evans Jones and Edward Earl Evans; and her siblings, Ralph, Booker Wilkins, Henrietta Wilkins Marks, Sirreather Wilkins Harris and Nora Wilkins.
She is survived by: her sons, Jesse R. Evans, Jr. (Stormy) of Glen Allen, VA., Randolph Evans, Sr. (Cindy) of Atlanta, GA. and James M. Evans (Jackie) of Suffolk, VA; her grandsons, Reginald Jones (Iris) of Charlottesville, VA., Roderick Jones (Tina) of Chesterfield, VA., Randolph Evans, Jr. (Erin) of Valencia, CA., Eric R. Evans of North Hollywood, CA., Anthony Evans (Shari) of Chesapeake, VA and Timothy Evans of Houston, TX; her great grandchildren, Jessica Jones Zabala, Angelus L. Jones, Mia Katrina Jones, Randolph Evans III, Teddy Evans, Julien T. Evans, Bree Athena Evans, Jani Y. Jones and Jordan R. Jones; and her great great grandchildren, Joe Zabala, Kobe Zabala and Mason Zabala. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In an abundance of caution with respect to the pandemic, there will be a private Graveside service on Friday, January 28, 2022 at 11am limited to family members only. It is asked that those in attendance abide by social distancing and mask protocols in respect to all.
