He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Lee Hicks, Sr. (Sweet) and Virginia Elizabeth Lewis Hicks. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn G. Hicks; his children, Jaqueline Gregory (Ricky), Jocelyn Stith (Christopher), Lander Leroy Hicks, Jr. (Chalonda), Sean Hicks, Rondell Stith (Shamese) and LaKeisha Stith; his stepchildren, Latonia Hutcheson (Kelvin) and LaTeshia Gilliam; his grandchildren, Donnell Hicks, Kayla Hicks, Sean Asa Hicks, Civannah Hicks, Avery Hicks, Zakalia Stith, Jamari Stith, Kayden Garnes, Kash Pearson, Trevon Williams, Zaniyah Williams, Kaleb Hutcheson, Kion Gilliam and Kai Gilliam; his great grandchild Ay'Sim Hicks; his siblings, Doris H. Singleton, James "Bubba" Hicks (Geraldine), Ella Walker, Bertha Merritt, Thomas Lee "Booney" Hicks, Jr., Evelyn Woodley, Melvin "Mello" Hicks (Hazel), Frances "Tiny" Hicks, William "Boo" Hicks (Sandra), Winston "Squeak" Hicks (Joyce) and Patricia Smith; his uncles, Odell and Lawrence Lewis; his siblings-in-law, Nancy Studivant, Carla Ramsey, James "Boo-Boo" Jones (Wendy) and Travis L. Jones (Rose); his nieces, Amy Hicks and Tamekia J. Studivant; and his close friends, William Graves, James Reed and Robert Mitchell. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
