She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Carrington and Lucille Boyd; her siblings, John, Joe Boyd, Martin, Harry Carrington of Landover, MD, Juanita Newkirk, Lucinda, Flossie Carrington of Brooklyn, NY, Elaine, Brenda Brown and Melvina Crutchfield; her godchildren, Christina Butler of Baltimore, MD and Jordan Crutchfield of Hopewell, VA; her nephew Dennis Brown of Bracey, VA; and her siblings-in-law, Wilbur Brown of Ebony, VA, Emily and Selena Brown of Ebony, VA..
She is survived by: her husband Ernest Lawrenceville; her children, Ronald of Bladensburg, MD, Ernest Jr. (Chuquitta) of Jarrett, VA, Yolanda Bowie, MD and Tara Bullard (Andre); and her grandchildren, LaSasha Martin (James), Faith Bullard, Omarion and Nylah Brown. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
