He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dumas Daniel Ray and Ethel Mae Baker Ray; his wife Suzette Hansley-Burns; his children, Malaika Ray and Jamil Ray; his siblings, Dumas John Luis Ray and Ethel Coleen Ray-Pendergrast; his daughter Kunicka Ray-Ollennu; his grandchildren, Christopher Ray, Nala McCrimmon, Etieana Ollennu and Elesha Ollennu; his great grandchildren, Christiana, Christian and Christopher Jr.; and his sister Cynthia Ray-Wilkins. He was also cherished by brothers-in law, sisters in-law, cousins, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and friends.
