He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney "Jack" Walker and Lila Meeks Walker; his wife Iris Lee King Walker; and his son Sidney Arthur Walker. He is survived by: his sons, Darrell Walker (Wanda), Donnie Walker (Janice), Ronnie Walker (Leah), Andy Walker (Becky) and Tristin Bishop (Amber); his daughter-in-law Lisa Walker; his grandchildren, Jason, Kim, Jessica, Cameron, Chris, Kyle, Heather, Caleb, Keavy, Liam, Travis, Kevin, Victoria and Sidney; and his siblings, Etta Morehouse, Pat Watson and Obie Walker. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
