She is survived by: her close friend Stanley "Possum" Peterson; her children, Derrick, Harold McFarland (Coshema) of Lawrenceville, VA and Tempestt McFarland (Tiffany) of Lawrenceville, VA; her stepgrandchildren, Equadzanere Rogers, Sy'Ire Jones and Ja'Juantae Bullock; her siblings, Nathan McFarland (Pauline) of Hampton, VA, Richard McFarland (Franziska) of Germany, Margaret Anderson (Alonzo) of Richmond, VA, Pearline Tucker (Harry) of Alberta, VA, David of Alberta, VA, John McFarland of Alberta, VA, Jerome McFarland of Dearborn Heights, MI, Melvin McFarland of Lawrenceville, VA, Elvis McFarland of Lawrenceville, VA and Gladys McFarland of North Chesterfield, VA; her siblings-in-law, Jerry Colyer, Amy McFarland of Lawrenceville, VA and Kristen Jackson-McFarland of Hopewell, VA; and her daughter Jayla Bland. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews whom she loved dearly; and cousins and friends.
