She is survived by: her husband Dr. Carlton Cooper of Bear, DE; her son Jarrett Joseph Graves Cooper of Greensboro, NC; her mother-in-law Elizabeth Cooper of Thomson, GA; her brother-in-law Lorenzo Cooper of Thomson, GA; her niece Twana Roberts of Mamia, FL; her uncle Stephen "Melvin" Brown of Brown Summit, NC; her cousins, Robert and Inell Mitchell of Lawrenceville, VA; and her close friends, Andrew Black of Durham, NC, Tonya Coates of Bear, DE, Dr. Erica Selva of Bear, DE, Joyce Stevens of Raleigh, NC, Rev. Stacey Tarlton of Cheraw, SC and Dr. William Wynn, III of Jamestown, NC.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Brown's Funeral Service (704 N Main St, Lawrenceville, VA 23868). A burial was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 at the St. James Epsicopal Church Cemetery.
