He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Eva Green Moore Garnes; his children, Queen Hayes (Leon), Joseph Evans (Audrey), Regina Lee and Larry Alston; his grandchildren, Larry Wilson Sharmaine Evans (Kristy), Eddie Mushaw Evans, Tequilla Lee, Nicole Hill (Mike), Brandon Evans, Angel Lee and Ashanti Washington; his wife Lorene Garnes; his siblings, Alan Garnes, Barbara Dean Garnes, Mary Meredith, Jesse Walker (Linda) and Willie Ann Stokes (John); his friends, Louis Blackwell and Larry Hendricks (Pokey); and also, Tezia Evans, Devaughn Evans, Taylor Wilson, Sadari Whitfield and Brandon Evans, Jr.. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
