She was predeceased by: her parents, Hinda Jones Kirk and Luther Bascom Kirk; and her siblings, Dennis Morgan, John Richard Kirk and Virginia Peebles.
She is survived by: her husband Lloyd Emerson Clarke; her children, Christie Clarke Hales (Gil) of Lawrenceville, Ruth Anne Clarke of Chesapeake City and Mark Lloyd Clarke (Deborah Smith) of Richmond; and her grandchildren, Daniel Clarke Mason, Wyatt Ranft Mason, Lannie Kirk Hales, Nicholas Clarke and Haley Clarke.
