She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence W. Turner and Virginia B. McGrady Turner; her husband Edward Thornton Hawks; and her brother Teddy W. Turner. She is survived by: her daughters, Ellen M. Foster and Samantha Walker; and her brothers, William Ronald Turner and Noel W. Turner. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
