He was predeceased by: his parents, Kyle P Sutphin and Ocie Underwood Sutphin. He is survived by: his children, Tanya Sutphin and Steve Sutphin (Gloria); his significant other Carolyn Spence; and his siblings, Glendal Sutphin (Cheryl) and Shirley Turner.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Willis Underwood Cemetery. Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Slate Mountain Presbyterian Church (239 Rock Church Rd, Meadows of Dan, VA 24120).
