She was predeceased by: her mother Lena Levora Woods; and her husband Charles Calvin Bass. She is survived by: her children, Edith Freeman (Glen), Melvin Hall (Dorothy), Janet S. Mitchem (Donny Harrison) and Janice Davis (Patrick); and her sister Eunice Hulon. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
