He was predeceased by: his father Clarence H. Turman; and his brothers, Kenneth L. Turman and C. Arvin Turman. He is survived by: his mother Virginia Sutphin Turman; his brother Ronnie R.; his sister-in-law Frances Turman; his sisters, Dana (Donald Martin) and Lois (Milton Graham); his niece Tracy Haynes (Joe); his great-niece Skyler Haynes; his great-nephew Jesse Haynes; his uncle H. Dean Sutphin (Diane); and his aunts, Nelda T. Nester and Lockie M. Turman.
