With solemn reverence, we commemorate Phyllis June McTheny of Lanexa, Virginia, whose life came to an end on January 25, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond "Jake" Canfield and Dorothy "Dot" Canfield; her husband Bill; her sister Jean Loggins; and her nephews, Michael Tharpe and Steve Boggs.
She is survived by: her children, Mark McTheny (Susan), Lynn Onesty (Richard) and Kara Schiele (Richard); her siblings, George Canfield (Kim) and Becky Tharpe (Mike); her grandchildren, Brett (Ashley), Ryan McTheny (Courtney), Nicholas (Allison), Morgan Onesty, Daniel (Caroline) and Zachary Schiele (Alicia); and her great grandchildren, Audrey, Grace, Oliver, Declan and Stella. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vincent Funeral Home, West Point Chapel (417 11th St, West Point, VA 23181). Viewing was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Vincent Funeral Home (417 11th St, West Point, VA 23181). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
