He is survived by: his wife Monica I. Ellis; his daughter Heather Marie Mason; his grandchild Carter Mason Smith; his siblings, Glenda Covington (Bernard), Hannah Mason, Diane Dale (Terry) and Morris Mason (June); and his stepchildren, Hunter, Peter and Karissa Ellis.
