He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph L. Forrest, Sr. and Evelyn C. Forrest; and his brother-in-law Phil Wetterling. He is survived by: his wife Lynda Forrest; his children, Robyn Forrest-Mason and Jason Scott Forrest; his stepdaughters, Sherry Rainier and Amy Creech; and his sisters, Lydia Wetterling and Betty Edwards (Bill). He is also survived by three nieces and multiple grandchildren.
