He was predeceased by: his brother Pete; and his grandchildren, Jalen and Maggie. He is survived by: his children, James Propst Jr. (Joanne), Tammy Adorno (David) and Charles Propst (Karrie); his grandchildren, Miranda Berry (Bryant), Christopher Propst (Karen), Travis Propst, Hunter Propst (Allyssa), Rick Propst (Wendy), Joey Fajohn and Amy Fajohn; and his pets, Chevy and Rosco. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
