It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hallie Dwite Tooley Jr. of Lanexa, Virginia, who passed away on July 21, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Lawrence, Richard, Johnny, Shirley Tooley and Rachel McKown; and his son-in-law Warren Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Tooley; his children, Allen Tooley, Timmy Tooley (Sharon), Roy Tooley (Debbie), Kevin Tooley (Jennifer) and Pam Smith; and his siblings, David Tooley (Sylvia) and Carol Ann Hall. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the James City Bruton Volunteer Fire Station, 3135 Forge Rd, Toano, VA 23168.
