With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Esther Dean Ehlert of Lanexa, Virginia, born in Williamsburg, Virginia, who passed away on December 6, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Esther Marshall, Jr. and Walter N. Marshall, Jr.; and her brothers, William (Billy) and Walter (Bubby). She is survived by: her children, Onna Lisa Williams and Jeffrey David Pillow (Merle); her granddaughters, Jessica Pillow (Domenic) and Jennifer Ferguson (Beau); and her great grandchildren, Ashlynn and Brelynn Ferguson.

In lieu of flowers, Esther Dean would have appreciated a donation to your favorite charity or to one her favorite charities: St. Jude's Children Fund and the Wounded Warrior Project.
