With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dehlia V. Otey of Lanexa, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 4, 2025 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her mother Rosie Ripley; her stepfather George Ripley; her father Howard Wall; and her sisters, Lorraine Mahone and Betty Stallard.
She is survived by: her husband Herbert Otey; her children, James Otey (Arnette), Gary Otey (Renee) and Mable Otey; her brother William Wall (Sue); her grandchildren, Christina Hunley (Steve), Tiffany Vaught (Justin) and Brandon Pearson; and her great grandchildren, Arya, Kennedy, Alexander and Christian.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Vincent Funeral Home, Providence Forge Chapel (9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge, VA 23140). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Providence Forge Chapel of Vincent Funeral Home (9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge, VA 23140). A burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Williamsburg Memorial Park (130 King William Dr, Williamsburg, VA 23188).
