With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gail Haughton O'Neal (Laneview, Virginia), born in Newport News, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 3, 2025 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by: her husband Little Willie "Pete" O'Neal; and her parents, Phyllis Haughton and Caxton Haughton. She is survived by: her siblings, Sally White (Rolfe) and Caxton "Bubba" Haughton, Jr. (Sylvia); her children, Kenneth "Paul" Cunningham, Jr. (Roni) and Elizabeth Kennedy (Terry); and her stepdaughters, Chrissy McCamy, Kimberly Brown (Randy) and Laurie O'Neal. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Glebe Landing Baptist Church (1498 Glebe Landing Rd, Laneview, VA 22504). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Glebe Landing Baptist Church, 1439 Glebe Landing Road, Laneview, VA 22504.
